Chicken Spots more commonly known as Chicken Pox come from eating too many chicken nuggets or at least this is my 3.5 year old son's reasoning.
Friday he woke up and asked mom what is all this on my legs, I had just gotten out of the shower and hadn't put my glasses on and at quick glance I was like oh that is just your Eczema, and we go on about our day. Ashlynn had a Dr. appointment so we took her and decided to stop in at the BX for some lunch, as we are getting Austin out of the car Josh looks at his leg and asks what is this on his leg, I glance over and notice a little pimple looking thing and say oh that is just an ant bite (we had an ant problem in the kids room because Austin spilt goldfish behind his bed and didn't tell us...ugh) so we go on have lunch and look around the BX when Austin says he has to go potty of course I get designated with the potty duty, take him in the bathroom which usually I let him go in the stall alone and I just stand outside but for some reason this time I decided to take the handicap stall and go in with him. He pulls down his pant and his thighs are covered in red spots. He finishes going potty and I go outside and immediately call the clinic it is 3pm , the clinic closes at 4 and it is Friday any one who knows the military medical system knows this is not a good time, but I call they of course have no appointments, but put in a consult to the nurse (who as of now 5pm on Sunday I haven't heard from) and tells me to go ahead and notify the church and any children he has been in contact with that he possibly has the chicken pox. Grrrr.....So here we are 2 days into this still wondering if he has the Chicken pox or if it is an allergic reaction to something. He hasn't ran a fever, he hasn't scratched, he is definitely not lethargic but his legs are covered with red spots and he has about 10 on his stomach and back.
